MEETING MINUTES
April 18, 2006

BOD Meeting
CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order at 7:10 by Pat Kerr, President.
VERIFY QUORUM:
The Board members present were Pat Kerr-President, Dave York-Vice President,
Marcia Johns-Secretary and Matt Ryan-Treasurer. Dave Diamond-Director
was not able to attend. Kathy Watts and Van Moore represented.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Marcia Johns read the minutes from the March 21st meeting.. Matt
Ryan made a motion to approved the minutes with corrections. Dave
York seconded the motion and it passed by unanimous voice vote.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
1. ARC Committee: Jackie
York distributed the ARC report. Dave York read the report which
consisted of painting, installing a screen room. Items pending are
a pool and removing a lanai.
2. Audit Committee:
None at this time.
3. Garden Committee:
There was a large group at the Easter egg hunt.
4. Gazette: Gazette
is being reviewed and will be distributed soon.
5. SWMC: Attorney Neil
McCullough spoke on this subject.
6. Welcoming
Committee: None at this time.
TREASURER’S REPORT:
1. Report on finances:
Matt Ryan presented the Treasurers report. Financial report from
3-01-06 to 3-31-06, Operating- $145,497.16 : Reserves $124,356.06.
Total disbursements $24,670.41. Marcia Johns made a motion
to approved the Treasurers report. Dave York seconded the motion
and it passed by unanimous voice vote.
OLD BUSINESS:
1. Playground: Matt
Ryan looked into the cost of the bubbles/globes at $230 each. “Big
Toys” has a tube slide only. Matt Ryan will look further for a slide
for the playground. Marcia Johns made a motion to purchase the 3
globes at the cost of $230 each. Dave York seconded the motion and
passed by unanimous voice vote.
2. Sprinkler Repair:
Sprinklers on Sierra have been repaired. It was suggested to get
a bid for the south berm.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Pat Kerr discussed the
vehicle accident from last Friday on the corner of Waterford Court and
Sunset Lakes Drive that damaged the mail boxes. She stated the residents
whose mailboxes were damaged will have to pick up their mail at the post
office.
2. Our new attorney Neil
McCullough spent the majority of the meeting discussing the issues concerning
the storm water management system and taking questions from the community.
ADJOURN: Marcia
Johns made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:45 PM Matt
Ryan seconded the motion and was passed by unanimous voice vote.
